Hobbies and storage – how does that fit together?
Garages are there for parking – but some people also use them as storage or hobby rooms. Because most of our apartments are so small that there is hardly any space for our beloved hobby or the sport we love so much. Our sporting activity or hobby can not only take up a lot of time in our lives, but also require a lot of physical space.

As attached as we are to these things, when they’re not in use, they can be a real space hog. Find out in the text below how you can combine your sports activities and hobbies with the lack of space that usually exists without restrictions.
Our hobbies not only bring us peace and serenity
In our stressful everyday life, we always need something that brings us back our calm and serenity. So that we can start the new day with full motivation, we need our beloved workload in our free time. This can take very different forms. Some even have two or three hobbies and not just one.
One loves to stand on his indispensable snowboard in winter and race down the freshly snowed slopes in a sporty way. The other, however, much prefers to be in the fresh air in summer and is happy when he can get out his beloved bike, which he maybe even rides to work, get on it and just start riding.
Especially now, when we shouldn’t come closer than two meters with social distancing, we are concentrating more than ever on our sporting activities and hobbies.
What is it with you? What is your favorite way to spend your time?
Little use and yet no space for storage
Very few of us need our sports equipment every day. Because our hobbies can not only take up a lot of time in our lives, but usually also require a dry and well-ventilated parking space in the apartment, the basement or the garage, we often have a huge problem with space. Because depending on the type of sport, it can very well be that our equipment just sits unused for half a year in the furthest corner of the basement or, if there is no other arrangement, even in a friend’s garage. During this time it should not be in our way but still easily accessible.
Do we really want to be dependent on others?
It’s 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning, a clear blue sky and nothing in the world can top my motivation. I want to get out!
Get on the bike and get rid of excess energy over hill and dale and really work out. But wait a minute! There was something else… my bike is in Alex’s basement… Unfortunately, he’s on his vacation in the South Seas right now in the middle of the Caribbean. Since he didn’t leave me a key, unfortunately I can’t get to my bike either. So today will probably not have anything to do with working out, recharging your batteries and riding a bike…
No limitation and access whenever you want!
It can suddenly happen so quickly and you just can’t get to your equipment. Don’t let anyone limit your sporting activities and hobbies. Because a hobby lives from the fact that we enjoy it at any time and can start with it immediately whenever we feel like it.
With us, you don’t have to wait for your friend to return, we’re open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. This ensures access to your things at all times. Simply arrive, enter your personalized code, enter the warehouse, unlock the storage box, take out the equipment, load it into the car, drive off and get started. That’s how easy it can be!
